She joined the Tomorrow Trust programme in Grade 8 and has consistently displayed discipline, a strong work ethic, and a clear sense of purpose.

Throughout her participation in the programme, Inam has actively engaged in all academic support interventions and shown sustained improvement in her performance. She has achieved an average of 71% in the subjects supported by the programme and earned a distinction in English, reflecting her strong language and communication skills. Inam has expressed a keen interest in pursuing a career in electrical engineering, demonstrating her ambition and forward-thinking mindset.

Phimi has expressed a clear interest in pursuing further studies in Computer Science, highlighting her aptitude for logical thinking, problem-solving, and technology-driven innovation.

Lukho is a learner from Cape Town who joined the Tomorrow Trust programme in 2023. She comes from a community facing significant safety challenges, which at times limited direct access to programme transport in her immediate residential area. Despite this, Lukho consistently demonstrated determination and accountability by walking to a designated safe collection point in order to attend programme sessions. Her commitment to showing up, regardless of the obstacles, speaks volumes about her dedication to her education.

Since joining the programme, Lukho has shown resilience, maturity, and a strong work ethic. She has actively participated in the academic support interventions provided and has remained engaged in all learning opportunities. Through her consistent effort, she achieved an average of 62% in the subjects supported by the programme, reflecting steady progress and a willingness to improve.

“I started with Tomorrow Trust when I was still young. At the time, we were collected from Mam Mariah’s house, where she would gather all of us before taking us to Camps Bay for our sessions. I am truly grateful for the opportunities this programme has given me. Today, I am a testament to the fact that all you need is to dream and not just dream but also put in the work and everything will fall into place.”
